Shrimp and Salmon Alfredo With Protein Pasta

pasta

This creamy Shrimp and Salmon Alfredo combines seasoned baked salmon, tender shrimp, protein pasta, broccoli, and a rich Parmesan Alfredo sauce. It is a filling family meal that serves five people with enough left for another serving

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces baked salmon, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 pounds precooked, deveined shrimp
  • 1 box (16 ounces) protein pasta
  • 2 jars Alfredo sauce
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli
  • Old Bay seasoning, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Onion powder, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
  • You can use your favorite store-bought Alfredo sauce or make your own homemade sauce. I used two jars of Alfredo sauce because this is the way I prepared mine.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baked salmon, then break approximately 12 ounces into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. Cook the protein pasta for approximately 9 minutes, or according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Pour both jars of Alfredo sauce into a large pot.
  4. Add Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese to taste.
  5. Add the salmon pieces and warm the sauce over medium-low heat, stirring regularly to prevent sticking or burning.
  6. Once the sauce is hot, gently stir in the frozen broccoli and precooked shrimp.
  7. Add the drained protein pasta and gently combine everything.
  8. Continue cooking until the broccoli is tender and the shrimp and salmon are heated thoroughly.
